in all the sectors. THE WEEK-IMRB survey on Hot Jobs 2010 reports that about
61% employers are planning to recruit more beginners this year- a great news
for freshers! The regular top jobs in the sectors like telecom,
manufacturing, health care, and hospitality are already included in the list
of hot careers in 2010 but what gives more hope is the fact that more and
more career opportunities are being created into engineering and also non
conventional sectors like animation. Also public sector jobs are in news
with public sector banks recruiting a large number of employees to fill up
huge vacancies. Here is the list of top jobs in India in 2010 that should be
considered by those who want to start afresh as well as those who plan to
switch careers.
Telecom- The boom in telecom sector has made it a hot career option
in 2010. Over one lakh jobs will be provided by this sector in 2010.
Health Care- With the new health care policy introduced in the USA,
a lots of pharma and health care services projects are rolling in from the
US and this makes health care one of the hot careers in 2010.
Banking and Financial Services- With many new entries in the banking
sector a lot of vacancies will require to be filled by recruiting such
employees as relationship manager, business analysts, credit analysts,
treasury manager, investment banking executives etc. Mutual fund analysts,
Equity research analysts etc. will be hot jobs in financial services sector
in 2010 with people becoming more interested in building asset and managing
them.
Automobile Industry- Indian automobile industry- the 9th largest in
the world- has become a sourcing base for global exports by auto majors.
Indian auto component suppliers are seen as cost-competitive option by
international auto industry which has made this type of growth level
possible. This has made the auto sector one of the hot careers in 2010. All
the auto companies will hire a considerably large number of employees.
Travel and Hospitality- About 40 international hotel brands will
become operational in India by 2011. As far as travel is considered, India
is being seen as a hot travel destination. So, hospitality jobs like those
of Guest relations executive, F&B manager etc. will be hot job options
in 2010.
Real Estate- With the demand of housing and commercial sites
increasing as a positive sign of end of financial meltdown, real estate
sector is one of the most hot jobs in 2010. Civil site engineer, project
manager, contracting manager etc. will be recruited by many established and
upcoming real estate firms.
Animation Jobs- With the necessity of pictorial representations of
data and information on websites, cinema and other digital media as well as
craze for video games have created a high demand for programmers, animators
and those who create music and sound effects. Those who studied or are
studying computer science and graphics will be fetching these animation hot
jobs in 2010.
