What is CCNA?
CCNA stands for
Cisco Certified Network Associate. CCNA is actually a certification
from Cisco. Rather than the full name, this certification by Cisco is
properly referred to by the initials CCNA.
CCNA certification basically a Cisco career certification but of a second
level. The certification is given to those individuals who qualifies to do
the following:
- To install, operate, configure, and troubleshoot medium-size routed
and switched networks.
- To implement and verify connections to remote sites in a WAN.

The candidate must pass the Cisco
Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam or pass both the Interconnecting
Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 exam and the Interconnecting Cisco
Networking Devices Part 2 exam.
CCNA Curriculum

- Introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology
- Performance-based skills
- The use of protocols like IP, Serial Line Interface Protocol Frame
